Google driveless car

Hi guys have you heared anytime about google driveless car,It is one of the great project by the google that involves developing technology for autonomous cars(self driving car,Robot car,driveless car).In google driveless car they are using laser radar system.The range finder is going to place on the top of the car is Velodyne 64 beam laser which allows the vehicle to generate a detailed 3d map of its environment.

The car is going to combined this generated 3d maps with a high resolution maps of the world as a result different data models are going to produce and allows the car to drive by itself.in google driveless car they are using chauffeur software.This type of cars are lettering on one side by seeing that letterring we should identify it has an google driveless car.This project is currently led by an google engineer sebastian thrun,director of Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.Google already tried practically a human controlled driveless car,but it is crashed near google headquarters in Mountain view CA(City in santa clara country in the san francisco bay area of california).At the time of incident car is driven manually.Another incident also taken place i.e google driveless car being rare ended when stopped at traffic light.

BENIFITS OF GOOGLE DRIVELESS CAR :

1.More than 90% of accidents are due to human errors,and leading to deaths and huge amount of money loss.when we uses this car we can slash those loses by huge margin.

2.Since it is driveless car it follows traffic rules and regulations without making any mistakes,if we feed all trffic rules in a programme.

3.Google driveless cars travelling at high speed platoons that reduce fuel consumption.

4.This type of cars also reduces stress to the people who are travelling in it,they can do there work easily during journey without any tension.I said these because in this generation we are unable to give assurence to the person life if he/she went outside with a vehicle unless reaches to home.because man makes many mistakes.

Disadvantages :

1.If any sensor in a google driveless car will not funtion properly it leads to accidents.Sometimes we loose our life also.

2.Periodical maintainance is compulsory.

3.Cost of the car will be high as we expect.
